Harry Brook didn’t hold back while sledging Nitish Kumar Reddy from behind the slips during day 5 of the third Test between England and India at Lords Cricket Ground in London. After India lost seven wickets for just 82 runs while chasing 193 runs on the final, Nitish joined Ravindra Jadeja at the crease as both the players were taking the innings further. As it turned out to be tensed situation for India, Brook shown no mercy for his ex-IPL teammate.

While Nitish Kumar Reddy was batting, Harry Brook, who was standing at the slips, sledged the Indian batter as he said “Who do you think you are? I remember when we were with the Sunrisers, you didn’t say anything there." He further said “Jaddu needs to score all the runs. This is not IPL." Notably, both Reddy and Brook have played together for Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in IPL 2023.

England nearing famous win at Lords while Ravindra Jadeja stands as lone warrior for India

Talking about the match, India now lost nine wickets while chasing a target of 193 runs and England need just one wicket to script a famous victory against India at Lords. The visitors had a tough day as they kept losing wickets at regular intervals and a target of 193 started looking unachievable. However, Ravindra Jadeja turned out to be a lone warrior for India and is still the final hope for India to win the Test match.

India were reduced to 147/9 after England skipper Ben Stokes dismissed Jasprit Bumrah. Now, Mohammed Siraj is batting at the crease along with Jadeja as India eye for a miracle while England need to take just one wicket to win the match. The team winning the match will go 2-1 up in the series.
