The future of Bradley Barcola has been the talk of the town since the time PSG won Champions League title. His lack of playing time at the Parisian side has given confidence to other teams to prioritize him as an attacking option as several clubs, including Bayern Munich, who have considered him as an option following the departure of Leroy Sane. Additionally, recent speculations have suggested that Arsenal are closely monitoring Barcola’s situation at PSG and are willing to make a move for him in the transfer window.

With the speculations of Bradley Barcola making a move going rife, PSG manager, Luis Enrique recently quashed his transfer rumours. Speaking at a recent interview ahead of the quarter-final against Bayern Munich, Luis Enrique made his thoughts clear and stated, “I have no doubt he'll remain our player”. Further in the interview, when he was asked about the interest over Barcola from other clubs, he remarked, “We like the fact that our players are interesting to other clubs. But he's one of those young players we've been banking on. I expect him to play here for many more years.”

PSG bank on Bradley Barcola as future star

Barcola joined PSG from the French club Lyon in the year 2023 for a transfer fee up to €45m. He signed a five-year contract with the Ligue 1 champions, which is valid until 2028. In the previous season, he has managed to score 18 goals and provide 17 assists across all competitions. This contribution from Barcola played a key role in PSG’s success and he is set to be a key part of the team in the upcoming quarter-final fixture in the FIFA Club World Cup against Bayern Munich.

With the current Champions League winners adamant to keep Barcola, it will be interesting to see what happens in the future in this transfer saga of the 22 year old.
