In match number 65 of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025, last season’s runners-up, Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) will take on Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) at the Bharat Ratna Sri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow. However, both teams are coming off a win in their respective last matches, RCB will be vying for a win to fight for a spot in the top two.

However, the Pat Cummins-led side will be playing for pride, the biggest question will be whether Travis Head return in the XI for SRH. It is to be noted that the Aussie batter’s arrival to India was delayed as he contracted COVID-19 and missed the previous game, where they took on Lucknow Super Giants.

He’s fit and ready for selection: James Franklin on Trvis Head’s participation vs RCB

With doubts looming over Head’s return, SRH’s bowling coach James Franklin shared a positive update at the pre-match press conference. “As far as I'm aware, he's gone through all the necessary COVID protocols. So yes, he's fit and ready for selection for tomorrow's game," Franklin said.

SRH, who will be playing for pride as they hope to end their season at a better position, bowling coach James Franklin said that they will continue to play with motivation. “It's not hard because I think in sport there's always something to play for. I think we saw in the last game there were opportunities for individuals coming in — Harsh Dubey being one of them. We obviously saw the return of Nitish Kumar Reddy to the bowling crease, which was great to see,” Franklin said.
