In the match 63rd of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025, Suryakumar Yadav and Naman Dhir, the Mumbai Indians (MI) middle order batting pair, took Mukesh Kumar to the cleaners for 27 runs in the 19th and penultimate over, which helped them propel their total to 180/5 against Delhi Capitals (DC). In a must-win match to keep their playoff hopes intact at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai, MI were in trouble for the majority of their batting innings on a tough pitch until Suryakumar Yadav opened his shoulders at the best possible time.
After the conclusion of the 18th over, MI had only 132 runs on the board with five players already back in the pavilion before Suryakumar Yadav smashed a six on the first ball of the 19th over from Mukesh Kumar, to start the carnage. Naman Dhir got the strike on the third ball of the same over, and he ended up taking down the Indian international for two fours and two sixes, to take 27 runs from just six balls.

In the 20th and final over of the MI innings, Suryakumar Yadav got the strike, and he continued the momentum by hitting a four on the first ball from Dushmantha Chameera before hitting two sixes and another four in the latter half of the over. The 21-run over from the Sri Lankan international meant that MI reached the magic number of 180 runs, which is a very good score on a pitch assisting the spin bowlers.
Suryakumar Yadav scored 73 runs in 43 balls with seven fours and four sixes, while Naman Dhir scored 24 runs in just eight balls with two fours and two sixes.
