During the second session on day four of the third Test in the five-match series, England captain Ben Stokes suffered a body blow on the bowling of Mohammed Siraj at Lord’s in London. With the five-match Test series level at 1-1, and the third Test match nicely poised, Mohammed Siraj bowled a shorter length delivery, which Ben Stokes looked to pull towards the deep square leg region, but he missed it completely due to the lack of bounce.

Within a split second, the ball thudded into the area where no batter in men’s cricket would want to get hit, and it instantly made Ben Stokes scream in agony with some expletives with a lot of people seeing the funny side of it except Stuart Broad in commentary. Moments later, Stokes was down on the floor with his legs turned towards the stump camera, and the picture has now gone viral on various social media platforms, with the fans having a field day with it.
