The Indian cricket team is currently locking horns with England in a highly-anticipated five-match Test series in the UK. While the Men in Blue kickstarted the tour with a five-wicket defeat in the Headingley Test, they bounced back and registered a victory by convincing margin of 336 runs to level the series 1-1. Shubman Gill, not only starred with the bat, but also led his team from the front, especially in the absence of the likes of Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli.
However, the two veterans of the game might have retired from Test cricket, they continue to feature in the ODI format, hoping to play until the next edition of the 50-over World Cup, which is scheduled to be held in 2027. Meanwhile, the two greats of Indian cricket are spending some quality time with their family.
