Jon Jones has indicated his intention to fight at the UFC event that is highly likely to take place at the iconic White House in July 2026. Recently, US President Donald Trump grabbed the attention for celebrating the country's 250th birthday by conducting a UFC event. “We’re going to have a UFC fight on the grounds of the White House… I think we’ll get 20,000 to 25,000 people,” said Trump a day before the United States (US) 249th Independence Day. Following Trump’s announcement, UFC legend Jon Jones hinted at participating at Trump’s White House event. He took to his social media account and wrote, "Fighting at the White House?"

After this post, UFC supporters are exhilarated as they are assessing that the legend might be seen donning his fighting gloves again. In June 2025, the 37-year-old shocked UFC buffs as he retired from the sport. UFC Chairman Dana White confirmed Jon’s retirement last month. "Jon Jones called us last night and retired. Jon Jones is officially retired. Tom Aspinall is the heavyweight champion of the UFC," said White.

Conor McGregor reveals his intention to participate at the White House event

Before Jones, Conor McGregor revealed that he will be available for the event. "Happy 4th of July, USA. Excited with President Trump announcing a UFC fight event at the White House. I would be honoured! Count me in!" wrote McGregor on X.

Social media personality Andrew Tate took to X and dropped his reaction to Trump’s plan. He expressed his reaction to record his presence in the historic card with the declaration, “I’ll fight. Call me Dana White.”

His recent appearances at UFC 313 and Power Slap events, with his brother Tristan, raised speculation about his return to combat sports.
