Wo0t of Team Heretics was named MVP of the tournament for his outstanding performance throughout the league stages and final. In their playoff journey, first they dominated NRG 2-0 in the Quarterfinals, beat Gen.G Esports by 2-1 in the Semi Finals, and defeated Fnatic by 3-2 in the Grand Finals. They lost the first 2 rounds in the final by 13-4 and 13-1, but bounced back strong in 3rd Round at Icebox by winning it 13-11. After this round, they got their confidence back and won the next two maps, Haven and Ascent by 13-10 and 13-10 respectively, to win the VALORANT Esports World Cup 2025 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

The tournament started with 16 teams competing in four double-elimination formal (GSL) Groups in the Group Stage from 8 to 10 July 2025. The top two teams from each group advanced to the Playoffs. The playoffs were played from 11 to 13 July, where 8 teams battled in a single-elimination bracket and Team Herectic became the champions of VALORANT EWC 2025 at the end.
