India are currently in a good position on day four of the third Test against England at Lords Cricket Ground in London. After levelling the scores in the first innings, the Indian bowlers have reduced England to 164/6 in the second innings and will be looking to bowl the hosts out soon and don’t get a big target to chase. England, who started the day with 2/0, couldn’t get any big partnership and are in trouble on day four.

Former Sri Lankan cricketer Kumar Sangakkara also showed heavy criticism towards star English batter Harry Brook after his dismissal on Akash Deep’s delivery. While attempting an aggressive sweep shot against Akash, Brook failed to judge the ball as Indian pacer cleared his stumps giving fourth breakthrough on the day. Leaving disappointed with his approach, Sangakkara slammed Brook during his commentary stint for Sony Sports Network.

“Brook has scooped, and they've given him a gap, so flick it. I think it's a bit of arrogance, not even overconfidence, it's not even Bazball, it's just arrogance. You're counter-attacking and that is a big, big mistake,” Sangakkara said.

Brook is too good a player to put his wicket at risk: Ravi Shastri

Former Indian Head Coach Ravi Shastri also came up with a constructive criticism on Harry Brook’s dismissal during the second innings of the third Test at Lords. He said that Brook gave away his wicket at a crucial moment while England were trouble.

Brook can be destructive—the impact he wanted to make with those two reverse sweeps, he did that. But I think he is too good a player to put his wicket at risk at that stage of the game,” Shastri said.
