India is all set to lock horns with England in a highly-anticipated five-match Test series, scheduled to start from Friday, June 20. While the Men in Blue will walk out to etch history in the new era with Shubman Gill at helm and Rishabh Pant serving as his deputy, England will hope to continue their domination at home.

With everything on stake, the Men in Blue will hope to silence the critics and lift the newly renamed Tendulkar-Anderson Trophy. It is to be noted that the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) retired the MAK Pataudi Trophy, which is awarded to the winner of the series, played between England and India in the United Kingdom (UK).

Ahead of the series, at the time of the trophy unveiling, the two greats of the game, shared their predictions. Legend Sachin Tendulkar, while speaking to ESPNcricinfo, predicted the series to go in India’s favour by 3-1 margin. "I have settled for 3-1 to India," Sachin said.

Bumrah is going to be our strike bowler: Sachin Tendulkar

The Team India great, Sachin Tendulkar, feels that the series will rely a lot on Jasprit Bumrah. Under the new leadership reins of Shubman Gill and Rishabh Pant, the team boasts of the experience of KL Rahul, Jasprit Bumrah, Ravindra Jadeja, among others. Amidst this, Sachin feels that Bumrah will be the key striker for India.

"I think the bowling attack, a lot will depend on Bumrah and how the other guys support him. Bumrah, without any doubt, is going to be our strike bowler. Along with that, how the rest of the guys that I have experienced, Prasidh has been in good form. Arshdeep Singh, Shardul Thakur, and Nitesh Reddy would be the supporting bowlers. Harshit Rana, I might be missing out a few names, Ravindra Jadeja, Kuldeep Yadav. I feel the attack is a balanced attack. I am hopeful that we will do something nice," Sachin Tendulkar told the media.
