According to the Classified YT, the BGMI 3.9 update release date is 16 July 2025. The exact time of the update is yet to be revealed by the developers, but based on the previous update releases, the 3.9 update roll for Android users will start early in the morning from 6:30 AM, while iOS users will have to wait till 9:00 AM.
BGMI 3.9 Update: Theme Mode
The BGMI 3.9 update is set to bring the Transformers theme mode. In this theme mode, you'll get to see two hotdrops where you can fight enemies in a Transformers-themed structure. Here you will get good loot and themed items, using which you can call Optimus Prime and Megatron.
A new vehicle, the Hoverboard, is going to be one of the most used items of this new update. Players can stand on it and travel around the map while surfing on the board.
Apart from all the new features, a new important "Super Smooth" graphic setting is also expected to be added to BGMI in the 3.9 update. However, Krafton has yet to confirm it, so players need to wait for the official announcement on the new graphics setting. If this Super Smooth graphics setting is added to the game, games with low-to mid-end devices will be able to play with lower lag issues.
