Suryakumar has done a magnificent job for MI in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025. In the crucial game against Delhi Capitals (DC), he stepped up and played a remarkable knock of an unbeaten 73 off 43 with 11 boundaries hitting seven fours and four sixes. His knock guided Mumbai to a 59-run win and he also became the Player of the Match (POTM) for his stunning batting display.
A day after his batting heroics for Mumbai against Delhi, a video is going viral on social media in which he was seen answering some intriguing questions. In the chat, he revealed that his first go-to meal is biryani. The next question, he was asked to choose between sneakers and traditional footwear. The 34-year-old chose the former. He was further queried to tell if he iwill prefer beach vacation or mountain person. He responded ‘beach.’ He also divulged that one gadget he can’t live without is his phone. When he was asked to reveal his favourite Bollywood movie of all time. The India T20 International (T20I) skipper said “Arey baap re, yeh toh ladai lagwane wali baat ho gayi.” However, he finally answered the question saying ‘Welcome’ is his favourite Bollywood film.

Suryakumar Yadav has been the most-successful batter for Mumbai this season. He has accumulated 583 runs with four fifties in 13 matches at a breathtaking strike rate of 170.46. With the tournament heading towards the playoffs, the veteran batter will be expected to maintain his form to help Mumbai lift the trophy for the record sixth time.
Mumbai will conclude their league round after playing their game against Punjab Kings (PBKS) at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium on May 26. Both teams will face each other for the first time in the ongoing season.
