
Rajasthan Royals skipper Sanju Samson shared a heartfelt moment with young Chennai Super Kings fans after the IPL 2025 clash between both the teams at Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi on Tuesday, May 20. RR finished their campaign with a six-wicket win over CSK and ended their disappointing season on a winning note. After the match, Samson was interacting with the fans and giving them autographs.
While Sanju Samson was interacting after the match, the young fan chanted his name from the stands “Sanju Samson.” To this, the RR skipper replied with “Haan chotu,” and went towards the stands to meet the young kid. While giving him an autograph, Samson asked the kid “CSK fan ho ki RR (are you a CSK fan of RR fan0?” to which the kid replied “Dono ka.” After that, Samson also gifted his cap to the young fan. The video was shared by RR on their social media with a caption “Everyone loves him.”

Sanju Samson becomes first RR batter to cross 4000 runs in IPL
Sanju Samson played a knock of 41 runs off 31 balls in RR’s six-wicket win over CSK in Delhi. With this, Samson achieved a great milestone as he became the first batter to cross 4000 runs for RR in the IPL. The wicket-keeper has now score 4027 runs in 149 IPL matches for RR from 2013 to 2025 so far. He batted with a strike rate of 141.24 and score two hundreds for RR in these years.
With a win against CSK, RR have now finished their IPL 2025 campaign with four wins and 10 losses in 14 matches this season. They had a disappointing season but they were able to end it on a winning note. RR are currently at the ninth spot in the points table and are likely to finish their at the end of the league stage.
