As the third Test between England and India is on its way to finish on the final day at Lords Cricket Ground, the things are also getting tense on the field as India’s Ravindra Jadeja and English pacer Brydon Carse got involved in a heated argument. Chasing a target of 193 runs, while Jadeja was going for a run against Brydon Carse’s delivery, he ended up colliding with the Englishman leading to a heated banter between the two players.

Both Jadeja and Carse set their eyes on the ball due to which they ended up colliding with each other while Jadeja was taking a run. However, it didn’t please Carse as he got involved in a heated argument with the Indian batter. Jadeja also went towards Carse and the things were getting tense before England captain Ben Stokes came in between to resolve the matter.

Ravindra Jadeja stays as India are in difficult situation while chasing 193 runs

Talking about the match, India are currently in a difficult situation on day five of the third Test against England at Lords Cricket Ground in London. While chasing a target of 193 runs, India lost seven wickets under 100 runs with their key batters going back to the pavilion. After bowling England out for 192 runs in the second innings on day four, India also couldn’t get a good start as they lost four wickets by the end of the day.

India started the day with the score of 58/4 with KL Rahul and Rishabh Pant at the crease. However, it didn’t take much time for Jofra Archer to remove Pant early on the start of the day. After a few overs, skipper Ben Stokes took a big wickets of KL Rahul followed by Archer’s stunning returning catch to end Washington Sundar’s innings as India were reduced to 82/7. As India were looking to get a big partnership between Ravindra Jadeja and Nitish Kumar Reddy, Chris Woakes dismissed Reddy to give England the eighth breakthrough right before lunch. Currently, Ravindra Jadeja is still unbeaten at the crease as England need two wickets to win.
