Nehal Wadhera showed a brilliaint display of fielding as he ended up taking a brilliant low catch to dismiss Rohit Sharma in the ongoing IPL 2025 clash between Punjab Kings and Mumbai Indians in Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur. Coming to bat first, Rohit was struggling to get big hits and attempted to get a big shot against Harpreet Brar on the third ball of the 10th over.

However, the MI opener couldn’t time the ball and Nehal Wadhera came running at long on take complete a low catch. Although, Wadhera lost his balance after taking the catch, he didn’t let the ball slip out of his hands and gave PBKS a big breakthrough. Rohit Sharma got out after scoring 24 runs off 21 balls hitting two fours and a six.

MI aim to post competitive total against PBKS

It is a crucial game for both PBKS and MI as both the teams will be looking to end in top-two in the points table with a win. In an important clash, PBKS skipper Shreyas Iyer won the toss and asked MI to bat first. The visitors got a good start as Ryan Rickelton and Rohit Sharma added 45 runs for the first wicket in 5.1 overs. Rickelton got out after scoring 27(20) runs hitting five fours while Rohit Sharma scored 24(21) runs.

 

However, MI lost quick wickets in the middle overs as Tilak Varma went back after scoring just one run, whiler Will Jacks also lost his wicket after scoring 17 off eight balls. Currently, Suryakumar Yadav is at the crease with skipper Hardik Pandya as MI will now look to get a match-winning total against PBKS.
