England and India are all set to meet in the third Test of the five-match series of the Anderson-Tendulkar Series at Lord's in London. In the second Test, the Indian cricket team thrashed the hosts in the biggest margin of an away win by 336 runs. To continue on being at the winning side, the Indian side is seeking the help of many cricketers who are not currently in the setup. Prior to the Birmingham Test, PBKS bowler Harpreet Brar joined Team India nets session and even practiced with them.
Now, fast bowler Deepak Chahar is another addition to that list. He was seen practicing with the Indian cricket team on the eve of the third Test between them and England. Chahar was also spotted at the Wimbledon Championship with his wife just a couple of days ago. Although he is not part of the Indian team for a long time, it is believed that he would have offered a decent practice to the Indian batters, specially with a swinging ball. Chahar has played 13 ODIs and 25 T20Is for India and has 47 scalps in both the formats, but he is yet to make his Test debut.

With Bumrah back India would aim for a right team combination for third Test
The Indian cricket team would be trying hard to get an appropriate team combination for the test match starting tomorrow. The wicket at Lord’s traditionally doesn’t offer much help to the spinners and is considered to be more friendly to the pacers who can swing the ball well. The biggest positive in this scenario is the return of Jasprit Bumrah, after being rested for one match. The team management must be in a predicament as they might consider excluding either Washington or Jadeja from the playing eleven.
Even in the last played international match at Lord’s, the ICC World Test Championship Final between South Africa and Australia pacers of both the sides dominated the wickets tally. Kagiso Rabada took five wickets in the first innings, Pat Cummins took six wickets in the second innings, even in the final innings where Markram dominated the Aussies. Mitchell Starc delivered a standout performance taking three wickets.
