Suryakumar Yadav continued his great run in IPL 2025 as he ended up getting his fourth half-century of the season in the ongoing match between Punjab Kings and Mumbai Indians in Jaipur. With this, Suryakumar also completed 600 runs this season and surpassed Sachin Tendulkar to score most runs for MI in a single IPL edition.

Coming to bat first after losing the toss, MI got a good start as Ryan Rickelton and Rohit Sharma added 45 runs for the first wicket in 5.1 overs. Rickelton got out after scoring 27(20) runs hitting five fours while Rohit Sharma scored 24(21) runs. After that, Suryakumar Yadav took charge of the innings.

Suryakumar Yadav and skipper Hardik Pandya put up a partnership of 44 runs for the fifth wicket. Pandya got out after scoring 26(15) runs while Suryakumar Yadav completed his fifty in 34 balls. The right-hander got out after scoring 57*(39) runs hitting six fours and two sixes. Apart from that, Naman Dhir gave finishing touches with 20*(12) runs as MI posted 184/7 in their 20 overs.

 

PBKS now need 185 runs to win the game against PBKS. The winning team will confirm their spot in the top two of the points table
