RJ Mahvash has dropped an appreciation post for Yuzvendra Chahal on social media, following Punjab Kings (PBKS) loss to Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) in the Indian Premier League 2025 final played at the Narendra Modi Stadium on June 3. During IPL 2025, the famous social media sensation was seen rooting for Punjab and Chahal several times. Mahvash and Chahal have been spotted together several times since March 9, when India played their Champions Trophy 2025 final against New Zealand at the iconic Dubai International Stadium. During the IPL 2025 campaign, Mahvash was also seen with PBKS co-owner Preity Zinta on several instances.

In a recent development, Mahvash took to her social media handle and divulged that Chahal picked up a rib injury in the initial stage of the T20 competition and also fractured his bowling finger but didn’t get demoralised and went on to deliver his best to the team.

Through her Instagram handle, she posted several pictures of her with PBKS players and staff and also wrote, “They fought, stayed and played till the last match! And special post to @yuzi_chahal23 because what people don't know is that his ribs got fractured in the second match only and his bowling finger got fractured later, this guy played the entire season with 3 fractures! We all have seen him screaming and crying in pain but have never seen him giving up! I mean what warrior spirit you have man. The team kept fighting till the last ball! It was nothing but an honour to be a supporter of this team this year! Well played boys. All the people in these pictures have my heart. See you next year! Also, many congratulations to RCB and fans for winning the title. Everyone played and worked hard! Cricket , and IPL ..my God again! Truly a festival for us indians.”

Yuzvendra Chahal will aim to make it to India’s T20 World Cup 2026 squad

Yuzvendra Chahal will strive to perform his best in the domestic season 2025-26 to earn a spot in Team India’s T20 World Cup 2026 squad. The marquee International Cricket Council (ICC) event will be played in India and Sri Lanka in the months of February and March.

Chahal was part of India in the last two T20 World Cup editions but didn’t get a chance to play any matches. Talking about his last T20 International (T20I) appearance, it happened against the West Indies in Lauderhill. The veteran has played 80 T20Is in his eight-year international career and has taken 96 wickets at an economy of 8.19.
