Team India opener KL Rahul is expected to be at his best for the team against England in the third Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy Test at the iconic Lord’s. The right-handed batter has looked disciplined with his bat thus far in the competition, scoring 236 runs in four innings at an average of 59.00. Despite winning the second Test by a heavy margin of 336 runs, India will be cautious as England have the potential to bounce back in the series. In these scenarios, the visitors will want their most-experienced batter Rahul to utilise his experience and help the team take a 2-1 lead in the series.
Rahul, who has played 15 Tests in England so far, has to deliver a quality start to India with Yashasvi Jaiswal at the iconic Lord’s. With the return of Jofra Archer in England’s playing XI, Rahul will have to stand at the crease and deliver a valuable score with his bat. His record is decent at the illustrious venues. In 2021, when India beat England by 151 runs, Rahul shone with his bat. As England and India are all set to lock horns against each other in London from July 10, SportsTiger has come up with KL Rahul’s Test batting numbers at Lord’s.
