Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) displayed their dominance against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 game played at the Arun Jaitley Stadium on May 25 and clinched a massive win of 110 runs. Batting first after winning the toss, the Orange Army posted a massive total of 278/3 in their 20 overs. Travis Head and Heinrich Klaasen showcased his excellent sides with their bats. Head smashed 76 off 40 while Klaasen notched up the fourth-fastest IPL century by completing his hundred in just 37 balls. The right-handed wicket-keeper batter concluded his innings with an unbeaten 105 off 39 balls. His knock was studded with seven fours and nine maximums.
Following the massive target, Kolkata lost their opener Quinton de Kock (nine off 13) in the fourth over of the innings Skipper Ajinkya Rahane (15 off eight) also lost his wicket to Jaydev Unadkat in the sixth over of the match. Manish Pandey played fine innings of 37 off 23, which helped KKR reach 168 in 18.4 overs and diminish the margin of defeat.

SRH spinner Harsh Dubey turned out to be a star with the ball and concluded his four-over spell with figures of 3/34. He got the better of Rinku Singh and Andre Russell on the back-to-back deliveries. After hunting both star batters, the youngster also picked up Ramandeep Singh’s scalp in the 14th over of the innings.
Earlier, Unadkat played the role of destroyer-in-chief and bagged 3/24 figures in his four-over spell. Eshan Malinga also recorded 3/31 figures after bowling his 3.4 overs. With this triumph, SRH registered their second largest victory (by runs) in the cash-rich tournament. For Kolkata, it was the second biggest defeat (by runs) in the league.
