After creating history at Edgbaston with a victory in the second Test, India are now gearing up for the third Test to be played at Lord’s. The five-match Test series is getting more intense as both the teams have won one Test each in England. The practice session ahead of the third Test match saw Jasprit Bumrah back in the team training as he is all set to play the game after opting out of the second Test match due to workload management. Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) posted a video on their social media handle X of Jasprit Bumrah training with the squad.
This video showcased some hilarious interactions of Jasprit Bumrah with his fellow teammates. The highlight of the video being his chat with the Indian pacer Shardul Thakur. In this part, Bumrah refers to Shardul Thakur as "Lord" which is a term given to him by the fans of Indian cricket and jokingly makes a statement, “The Lord is going to play at the Lord’s”. Further in the video, Thakur humorously said that he needs to seek blessings from Bumrah while trying to touch his feet, to which he teammate wittily replied that it is a privilege to play on the same pitch as him. This video shows the positive mood around the whole team.

India look to win at Lord’s to take 2-1 lead in five-match Test series
With the return of Jasprit Bumrah, Team India will be gearing up to battle it out against England in the Test match which is all set to take place tomorrow onwards. The Indian bowling lineup is in sensational touch as the pacers Akash Deep and Mohammad Siraj are in the form of their lives.
The captain the Indian cricket team, Shubman Gill, has been lighting up the park with his back to back brilliant knocks with other batters like Rishabh Pant also doing quite well. India will be eyeing for nothing lesser than a victory at Lord’s in third Test. However, England, with the support of their home crowd, will be looking forward to holding the horses of the Indians and emerge victorious against them.
