On the occasion of 2025 Mother’s Day, the cricketing fraternity took to social media and dedicated posts to their mothers. Team India legends Sachin Tendulkar and Virat Kohli led the wishes as both took to their social media handles and displayed love and respect for their mothers. Tendulkar took to X and posted a picture of him accompanying his mother, siblings, and niece. Former India opener captioned the image, “Everything I am started with her prayers and her strength. My Aai has always been my anchor, just like every mother is for her child. Wishing all the incredible mothers a very Happy Mother’s Day! #MothersDay."
Virat Kohli also posted three pictures through his Instagram account and dedicated his post to all the mothers in the world. His first picture displayed his wife Anushka Sharma posing with daughter Vamika while the last couple of pictures showed him and his spouse with their respective mothers. His post read, “Happy mothers day to all the mothers of the world. I was born to one, accepted by one as a son and have seen one grow into a strong , nurturing, loving and protective mother to our children. We love you more and more everyday @anushkasharma.”
World Cup 2011 champion Yuvraj Singh also exhibits respect and love towards his mother
Besides two legends, the World Cup 2011 champion Yuvraj Singh also wished Mother’s Day to his mother Shabnam Singh. Former star India batter posted a picture on X which showed him posing with his mother along with other family members and relatives.
The 43-year-old penned the post, “Mothers don’t always ask for much, but they give everything - love, strength, patience and a kind of selflessness that holds families together.
