The BGMI 3.9 update release date is 16 July 2025. The update will start rolling out from 6:30 AM IST on Android while iOS devices will receive the update from 9:30 AM IST. The full rollout will complete around 11:30 AM IST.

The BGMI 3.9 update will add action from Transformers in the battlegrounds. Two hotdrops will be added in Erangel in Transformers theme mode. Also, gamers will get to see hoverboards, abilities to transform into Optimus Prime and Megatron, and new theme areas where gamers will get a good amount of loot.
