India are currently in a difficult situation on day five of the third Test against England at Lords Cricket Ground in London. While chasing a target of 193 runs, India lost seven wickets under 100 runs with their key batters going back to the pavilion. After bowling England out for 192 runs in the second innings on day four, India also couldn’t get a good start as they lost four wickets by the end of the day. India started day five with the score of 58/4 with KL Rahul and Rishabh Pant at the crease. However, it didn’t take much time for Jofra Archer to remove Pant early on the start of the day.
After a few overs, skipper Ben Stokes took a big wicket of KL Rahul followed by Archer’s stunning returning catch to end Washington Sundar’s innings as India were reduced to 82/7. As India were looking to get a big partnership between Ravindra Jadeja and Nitish Kumar Reddy, Chris Woakes dismissed Reddy to give England the eighth breakthrough right before lunch. Ahead of the second session of day, Ravindra Jadeja remains unbeaten as India need 81 runs to win with just two wickets in hand. Jadeja is currently batting on 17* runs off 53 balls.
