In the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025, Gujarat Titans (GT) looked remarkable more than the first-half of the tournament. In the final stage of the league round, they got shaken which deprived them the top two spots. In the Eliminator, they faced a 20-run loss against Hardik Pandya’s Mumbai Indians (MI) and concluded the campaign on a disappointing note. Throughout the tournament, they saw their top-order batters Shubman Gill, Sai Sudharsan, and Jos Buttler performing exceptionally.

However, their key bowlers Rashid Khan and Kagiso Rabada couldn’t be at their best and they will have to shape up before the next installment of the league. Both Rashid and Rabada are massive figures and they are highly likely to get another chance in GT, however, a few non-performing names might not find themselves lucky as they might be axed from the side before the IPL 2026 auction.

Discussing such names, below are three players who might be seen in GT jersey in IPL 2026:

3. Arshad Khan

Pacer Arshad Khan’s role was to assist Mohammed Siraj and Prasidh Krishna to bolster GT’s fast-bowling unit but numbers reveal that he failed to play his role efficiently. He grabbed six wickets in nine matches at a terrible economy of 10.33. His miserable bowling show might force him to go under the hammer in the IPL 2026 auction.

2. Ishant Sharma

India's veteran Ishant Sharma was expected to utilise his experience and prowess to trouble batters but he couldn’t do much with the ball. Appearing in seven contests, he could get only four wickets at an economy of 11.18. Noting his age, fitness, and form, Titans might part ways with him prior to the next IPL auction.

1. Gerald Coetzee

South Africa quick Gerald Coetzee is another bowler who didn’t perform for GT as per expectations. At the 2024 auction, he was sold for INR 2.40 Crore. The 24-year-old featured in four games and scalped only two wickets at a horrendous economy of 10.91.
