West Ham United have reportedly rejected a £50 million bid for Ghanaian international Mohammed Kudus from Tottenham Hotspur, which was made last week. It is understood that West Ham United were quick to let the fellow London-based club know about their decision to not sell their attacking midfielder after he had scored five goals and provided three assists in 32 Premier League matches last season.
Notably, following a decent last season with West Ham United, Mohammed Kudus has been attracting substantial interest from many clubs in Europe, and Tottenham Hotspur decided to bid on him as well, to bolster their squad ahead of next season. As per the report from talkSPORT, Bournemouth winger Antoine Semenyo was on the radar of Tottenham Hotspur earlier in the ongoing summer transfer window, but with the demand of £65 million or more for the player, it didn’t go anywhere.
Mohammed Kudus has release clause worth £120 million in his current contract in connect with Saudi clubs
At the same time, the Cherries had just announced that Antoine Semenyo signed a new five-year contract with them. As far as Mohammed Kudus is concerned, he is looked upon as an important figure by West Ham United manager Graham Potter for the next season, and they will be aiming to finish in the European places in the Premier League after a disappointing conclusion to last season.
It is important to note that there is a release clause worth £120 million in the current West Ham United contract of Mohammed Kudus, in regards to the Saudi Pro League clubs. But, at the same time, Al-Nassr, who are interested in him, feel that they can get the attacking midfielder for a significantly less price, especially since he might be looking to exit the London-based club this summer for bigger things.
