Although it was a dead rubber game, the fans were excited to watch Vaibhav Suryavanshi and MS Dhoni on screen together in action. There was also a little interaction between the two after the match where Suryavanshi showed a gesture of respect to the CSK captain in the post-match handshake.

As the players from both teams were shaking hands, Vaibhav Suryavanshi bowed down and touched MS Dhoni’s feet when the two faced each other during the handshake. This was also a special moment as the youngest player of the tournament showing respect to the oldest player of the tournament.

We should come back with a better mindset in the next season: Sanju Samson on RR’s disappointing season

Although RR registered a convincing win over CSK, they overall had a disappointing season where they could only win four matches and ended up losing 10 matches. However, they were able to end their season on a winning note. After the match, RR skipper Sanju Samson reflected on his team’s performance this season and said that they will prepare better for the upcoming season.

“Definitely we could have done better. It is not about luck. We have made some mistakes. We should come back with a better mindset in the next season. I don't have words for Vaibhav. The hundred he got was sheer class. He can hit a slower ball over cover. Today when the middle overs was going on, he was going with his job very smartly. He has game awareness at such a young age which is commendable,” Samson said at the post-match presentation.
