On the latest episode of WWE SmackDown from the Kingdom Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, CM Punk, the Voice of the Voiceless, went face-to-face with WWE Champion John Cena just a night before their highly anticipated title match. With around 24 hours remaining until John Cena is set to defend his WWE Championship, he got savagely trolled by challenger CM Punk, who took a page out of his book by introducing the fans to the “Dr. of Punkamomics”.
After last week on WWE SmackDown, wherein John Cena did his own version of the “Pipebomb” on its original creator CM Punk, the latter had to one-up him, and he chose to do his version of the “Dr. of Thuganomics”. Punk walked out of the Gorilla position with the “Word Life” theme song playing in the background, with the titantron reading “Punk Life”, while he had the legendary John Cena style gear on him with his flavor - the Chicago Cubs shirt, jeans shorts, a backwards cap, a lock chain, and the “Drug Free” rings.

John Cena was livid inside the ring about CM Punk stealing his gimmick, and it got worse for him when the challenger dropped a rap on him, calling it “Basic Punkanomics”. Punk talked about how Cena ended up burying talent more than The Undertaker before pointing out the constant fan chants for the Leader of the Cenation in regard to how he can’t wrestle and possesses five moves of doom.
In the closing stages of his “Basic Punkanomics” promo, CM Punk called John Cena a “washed up bum” who is not even his catchphrase “You Can’t See Me” anymore. The exclamation point from Punk came when he said, “Before you go, John, there’s one more wish to make; tomorrow night you’re going to lose to Kendrick, ‘cause bitch you’re my Drake”.
With the John Cena versus CM Punk rivalry getting to a fever pitch, it will be quite interesting to see how the WWE Championship match in the main event of the Night of Champions PLE in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, plays out.
