Star Indian wicketkeeper batter Rishabh Pant is as entertaining on the stump mic as he is with the bat while playing in a Test match. The left-hander also entertained the fans with his batting in the ongoing first Test against England at Headingley, Leeds with his batting and hilarious stump mic conversations. During the second innings of India, Pant was again caught in a hilarious stump mic conversation with KL Rahul on day four of the Test.

Rishabh Pant, who scored 134(178) runs in the first innings is also looking in good touch in the second innings along with KL Rahul as duo has added more than 70 runs for the fourth wicket. During the innings, Pant also played some risky shots and went on to get a few boundaries with that. The wicket-keeper batter was also quoted as saying to Rahul that he is losing an easy chance to get runs because of respecting a delivery which he could easily hit for a boundary. “Paki hui ball, Itna Tamiz khelne ke chakkar me chut rahi hai…”Pant was quoted as saying on stump mic.

KL Rahul nearing 100 as India aim to give challenging target to England

Talking about the match, after taking a small lead of six runs in the first innings, India now aim to get another big score in the second innings and give England a tough target to chase. Coming to bat in the second innings, the visitors were reduced to 92/3 by the end of day four with KL Rahul at the crease.

After that, on the start of day four, Rishabh Pant joined KL Rahul at the crease as the duo didn’t let any wicket fall in the first session. Rahul who got out after a promising 42 runs in the first innings, went on to complete his fifty in the second innings while Pant is also looking in good touch as India have crossed 180 runs.
