The transfer window for the upcoming campaign is up and running and many teams are on the hunt for a player which fits their team profile. Rodrygo Goes has been a player who has been linked to many teams such as Arsenal, Bayern, Al Nassr, etc. However, the Brazilian international is yet to confirm his interest to any team. Notably, Rodrygo has been a crucial player for Real Madrid over the years, but he has been unable to find much game time recently. Several reports suggest that he is not a part of Xabi Alonso’s plan anymore and will have to make a move to another team before the start of the upcoming campaign.

Rodrygo was a guaranteed starter for the Los Blancos in the previous years under their former Manager Carlo Ancelotti. However, since the arrival of the new boss Xabi Alonso, things have not been the same. Even in the FIFA Club World Cup 2025, Rodrygo has been unable to find a spot in the starting lineup since their first match against Al-Hilal in the group stage. Hence, it is leading to speculations that the Brazilian wonderboy’s time with the Los Blancos is over .

Rodrygo unlikely to join Al-Nassr; to play in Europe

There have been several reports suggesting that Rodrygo could be seen making a move to Saudi Arabia. However, according to journalist Fabrizio Romano, “there are no talks to sign Rodrygo, or Gabriel Martinelli with Al Nassr and the Saudi side is not planning to spend crazy money this summer.” Rodrygo’s priority remains to play in a European team if he is not going to continue his journey at Real Madrid. Arsenal and Bayern are also monitoring Rodrygo’s situation with Madrid. However, currently Madrid are only focusing on the Club World Cup and if any talks are to take place, it will happen only after the end of the tournament.

Another report recently revealed that Al Nassr are not aiming for Rodrygo as they are not eyeing for big money moves this summer. The transfer saga of the Brazilian international still remains open and we can expect more surprises in the upcoming days.
