The Pondicherry Premier League (PPL) is back with its second edition, which will be played from Sunday, July 6 onwards. The T20 league, which saw Mahe Megalo Strikers win the inaugural edition, beating Villianur Mohit Kings by six wickets in a one-sided final last year, will be played across 22 days at the Siechem Stadium in Thuthipet, with the final scheduled to be held on Sunday, July 27.

The tournament will see as many as six teams, namely Ossudu Accord Warriors, Ruby White Town Legends, Karaikal Kniights, Mahe Megalo StrikersGenid Yanam Royals and Villianur Mohit Kings fight for the coveted trophy. Spanned across the next 22 days, the league will see a total of 34 matches being played at a single venue. Each team will play against each other twice in a double round-robin format, followed by the knockout stage.
