Popular Bollywood actress and Punjab Kings co-owner Preity Zinta left annoyed over her morphed images with young Rajasthan Royals player Vaibhav Suryavanshi. Notably, Zinta met RR’s 14-year-old sensation after the IPL 2025 clash between RR and PBKS at Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur on Sunday, May 18. RR also released a video on their social media where Zinta can be seen having a chat with Suryavanshi after the match.
However, several edited images went viral on social media where Preity Zinta was potrayed hugging Vaibhav Suryavanshi and was also used by a few news platforms. Replying to a news platforms for using a fake photo, Zinta took to X where she wrote “This is a morphed image and fake news. Am so surprised now that news channels are also using morphed images and featuring them as news items !”
PBKS aims top two spot in IPL 2025 points table
Punjab Kings finally ended their 11-year drought as they have officially qualified for the playoffs of IPL 2025 for the first time after 2014. The Shreyas Iyer-led side is currently at the third spot in the points table with eight wins and three losses in 12 matches so far. Now, PBKS will be looking to finish in top two at the end of the league stage and get a step closer to their maiden IPL title.
PBKS are scheduled to play two more matches in the league stage. They will first face Delhi Capitals in Jaipur on May 24 followed by the clash against Mumbai Indians at the same ground on May 26. These two matches will decide PBKS’ final standings in the points table. Along with PBKS, Gujarat Titans and Royal Challengers Bengaluru have also qualified for the playoffs while Delhi Capitals and Mumbai Indians are the contenders for the last spot in the final top four of IPL 2025.
