Kyle Walker, the 35-year-old English international, who has been a part of many title-winning campaigns with Manchester City, is likely to part ways with the team in the upcoming campaign. The English international had spent the second-half of the previous campaign with the Italian giants AC Milan. Despite having a good start at the San Siro, Walker faced a lot of injuries including an elbow fracture in between his loan spell and failed to register any goals or assists during his spell in Italy.
Seeing his dismal outing, Milan have not opted to offer him a permanent deal which has seen him return to Pep Guardiola’s team. But according to several reports, Kyle Walker is expected to make a move to Burnley, signing a two-year contract. If reports are to be believed, the medical has already been completed after they made an agreement with the English giants.
The 35-year-old is set to bring a lot of experience & leadership to the team, which will be very helpful for them in order to prevent relegation in the upcoming campaign and strengthen their defensive line. According to the renowned Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, Burnley are looking for a £5m deal for obtaining Kyle Walker with additional add-ons.

Kyle Walker, who is known for his fiery and extravagant speed, has been a crucial part of Manchester City. However, it has been seen that Pep Guardiola does not count Walker as a part of his plans in the upcoming season. The City manager also did not register him in the squad for the FIFA Club World Cup 2025 along with the likes of Jack Grealish, sending a clear message out loud.
The club had also announced Bernardo Silva to succeed as the captain for City, replacing Kyle Walker from the role. Speaking of the England international, Walker has won 17 major trophies with Man City, which includes six Premier League titles and the 2023 Champions League. Walker is set to reunite with his fellow team-mate from Tottenham, Scott Parker, who is the manager of Burnley.
