The Global Super League (GSL) will return with its second installment, the 2025 edition, and like the previous season, this year also, five teams will lock horns with one another. Rangpur Riders, who won the inaugural season, will defend the title under Nurul Hasan. The Bangladesh-based T20 club beat Victoria in the final of the maiden season and lifted the trophy. Soumya Sarkar emerged as the player of the series for his sensational batting contribution. The left-handed batter notched up 188 runs in five matches and played the instrumental role in Riders’ title success.
Last year, Victoria, Hampshire, and Lahore Qalandars were among the five teams but this year, these sides couldn’t make it to the tournament. This year, Central Stags, Dubai Capitals, and Hobart Hurricanes will make their debut. From the last season, only Rangpur and Guyana Amazon Warriors will play in this year’s tournament. The tournament will be held in Guyana from July 10 to 18 and during this period, 11 matches will be played. As the competition is only a few days away, SportsTiger has come up with the schedule of the T20 extravaganza.
