After centuries from Yashasvi Jasiwal (101), Shubman Gill (147) and Rishabh Pant (134) in the first innings, it was KL Rahul (137 off 247) and Rishabh Pant’s (118 off 140) tons which helped India put 371-run lead on board.

With his third ton in England, he leapfrogged the likes of Rahul Dravid and Ravi Shastri in the list of most centuries by Asian openers in England.
