The Independence Day edition of WWE SmackDown in the USA will go down at the PPG Paints Arena in Pittsburgh, wherein the fall out of the Night of Champions 2025 Premier Live Event (PLE) is going to take place. After winning his first singles championship on WWE main roster last weekend, the new United States Champion Solo Sikoa will introduce the newest addition to his family to the SmackDown fans.

Cody Rhodes and Jade Cargill won the King of the Ring and Queen of the Ring tournaments respectively in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and they will make their presence felt on SmackDown with an eye on their championship matches at WWE SummerSlam next month. Tiffany Stratton, the WWE Women’s Champion, is slated to pick her challenger for the upcoming second edition of the WWE Evolution PLE next weekend.

It is a stacked card put together by WWE SmackDown, which is expected to throw a few surprises apart from scheduled matches, like every other weekly show does in the promotion in recent times.
