Seven-times champion Novak Djokovic went on to defeat Alex de Minaur in the round of 16 of the ongoing 2025 Wimbledon Championships. The 38-year-old claimed a thrilling victory by 1-6, 6-4, 6-4, 6-4. to qualify for the next round. The match begin with Minaur taking an early lead of 6-1 in the first set, after that, Djokovic made a great comeback by winning three straight sets and registered a thrilling win.

With this win, Novak Djokovic entered the quarter-final of the men's single in the 2025 Wimbledon Championships. Djokovic, currently seeded fifth seems to be in fine touch but eleventh seeded de Minaur also gave a tough fight in the game.
After a scratchy start to his tournament, Djokovic has outclassed Dan Evans and fellow Serb Miomir Kecmanovic in the last two rounds to signal return to his prime form. However, the question remains if he will be able to sustain this level of performance against top players like De Minaur.
