India legend Sachin Tendulkar recorded his presence at Lord’s in London, where England and Team India will square off against each other in the third Test. Both teams will look to be at their best at the iconic venue to win the game and take a 2-1 lead after three games in the series. England will want their pacer Jofra Archer to dominate India’s batting attack. Archer has made a comeback in red-ball cricket after four years.
India, who looked solid as a batting unit, will keep their expectations high from their bowling attack as well after Jasprit Bumrah’s return to the playing XI. In the second match played in Birmingham, India bowlers Mohammed Siraj and Akash Deep looked fabulous in Bumrah’s absence.
Discussing Tendulkar’s presence, the 52-year-old was given the opportunity to ring the bell and announce the start of the match. Tendulkar was accompanied by his spouse Anjali Tendulkar. A day before the game, Tendulkar and Team India spent time at former all-rounder Yuvraj Singh’s charity event for cancer patients in London.

Sachin Tendulkar becomes part of Lord’s portrait legacy
Sachin Tendulkar has become a part of Lord’s portrait legacy. Tendulkar unveiled his picture at the MCC Museum hours before the start of the Test match between England and India. Artist Stuart Pearson Wright has created the legend’s portrait. Currently, the picture is on display at the museum but later this year, it’s scheduled to be shifted to the pavilion.
Sachin has become the fifth India player to get a portrait at MCC. Among five, four of them, Kapil Dev, Bishan Singh Bedi, Dilip Vengsarkar, and now Tendulkar, have been painted by Pearson. Tendulkar’s portrait is larger than the other four Team India players. Talking about Tendulkar’s Test record at Lord’s, he scored 195 runs in nine innings of five matches from 1990 to 2011.
