The WWE is heading towards its next pay-per-view (PPV) event, the SummerSlam, which is all set to be held across two nights, August 2 and 3, 2025. This will be the first instance that the SummerSlam will be held across a couple of nights. At the event, CM Punk is highly likely to challenge Gunther for the World Heavyweight Championship, Becky Lynch will clash against Lyra Valkyria, and Tiffany Stratton will be challenged by Jade Cargill. These matches are expected to be relished by ardent WWE fans. As the event is only 18 days away, Roman Reigns appeared on WWE Monday Night RAW.

This was Roman Reigns' first appearance in WWE after Wrestlemania 41, which took place on April 19 and 20 at the Allegiant Stadium, Las Vegas. At the event in April, Reigns lost his match to Cody Rhodes and was also beaten up by Bron Breakker, who allied with Seth Rollins and Bronson Reed. The three were brought together by Original Tribal Chief’s best friend Paul Heyman, who betrayed Reigns in the wrestling extravaganza held three months back. A couple of weeks prior to SummerSlam, Reigns’ return to the ring indicates that he will take revenge for his humiliation at the hands of Paul Heyman and his new allies.

Roman Reigns reunites with Jey Uso on Monday Night RAW

On Monday Night Raw, held on July 14, when Reigns’ music rang, he ran towards the ring and made Bronson Reed his victim. He beat up Reed with punches and also performed a spear on the opponent. Roman also shared the ring with Jey Uso, who was looking to get back on his feet after getting assaulted by Heyman’s men.

Following this incident, Reigns issued a warning to his nemesis through an X tweet. “More receipts to come! Good to be back,” wrote Roman on his X account.
