Former India captain MS Dhoni was spotted at his friend’s birthday party. Dhoni recently hit the headlines for getting inducted into the International Cricket Council (ICC) hall of fame. With the recent achievement, he joined legends such as Australia opener Matthew Hayden, former South Africa captains Graeme Smith and Hashmi Amla, and New Zealand skipper Daniel Vettori in the ICC Hall of Fame. "It is an honour to be named in the ICC hall of fame, which recognises the contributions of cricketers across generations and from all over the world. To have your name remembered alongside such all-time greats is a wonderful feeling. It is something that I will cherish forever," said MS Dhoni after getting a spot in ICC’s elite list.
Weeks after the notable achievement, when Dhoni attended his friend’s birthday party, he came across a lady fan who clicked videos with the 43-year-old. The Dhoni supporter was visibly cheerful as she got a chance to shoot the clip with the star batter. Her expression is reigning the internet.
MS Dhoni’s performance in IPL 2025
In the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025, MS Dhoni played 14 matches for Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and scored 196 runs in 13 innings at a strike rate of 135.17. The legend hasn’t announced his retirement from the cash-rich league and his fans might get to see him donning CSK’s jersey next IPL season.
Currently, his fans will be content that the legendary wicket-keeper batter has become a part of the hall of fame. Dhoni is the only skipper to win all ICC trophies. In 20007, he guided India to the World Cup 2007 win while in 2011, he made India the World Cup champions after 28 years. Two years later, he also won the Champions Trophy held in England. Under his reign, India held the number one spot in Tests from December 2009 to August 2011.
