Young Indian cricketer, Rinku Singh, who recently got engaged to Samajwadi Party MP Priya Saroj, is speculated to tie a knot later this year. Although, several reports claimed November 19 as the set date for the couple’s wedding, but latest report have made a shocking revelation.
Notably, the couple got engaged in a grand ceremony in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh on June 8. The two exchanged the rings in a private ceremony, which was attended by members of the Indian cricketing fraternity as well as prominent personalities from the world of politics.
Rinku Singh’s wedding postponed to 2026: Reports
But a report by Amar Ujala newspaper has made startling claims. As per the report, the wedding between Rinku and Priya Saroj has been postponed due to the former's cricket commitments in November. The newspaper also stated that the wedding will now take place in February 2026, however the exact date is yet to be revealed.
"The family had booked Taj Hotel, Varanasi for Rinku and Priya's wedding on November 19, 2025. However, Rinku's commitments for the Indian cricket team forced them to postpone the wedding," one of family members of the couple was quoted in the report.
Talking about the Indian cricketer, he was last seen in action in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025. He donned the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) jersey in the 2025 season, and finished with 206 runs from 13 matches at an average of 29.43.
