So, the big organizations have also started talks with top FFM esports lineups to sign them, and Godlike Esports, one of the most popular esports teams in India, has made the first move by signing one of the best current lineups in the country ahead of the Free Fire Max India Cup 2025.

Godlike Esports signs ex-Autobotz Esports lineup ahead of FFMIC 2025

Godlike Esports announced their entry into Free Fire Max esports by signing the ex-Autobotz Esports lineup. The club made the announcement shortly after Garena revealed the Free Fire Max India Cup 2025 on 27 June 2025.

Notably, this lineup has delivered a dominant run this year till now, winning the Skyesports Free Fire Max Pro League in March, the Esports Club Challenger Series Grand Finals in April, the Solara Cup and Lidoma South Asia Rivals in May, and the Clash of Champions in the same month. They also finished as runners-up in the Lidoma Endless Series Grand Finals in June 2025.

So undoubtedly, Godlike Esports, known for their superstar-filled rosters of BGMI, CODM, Pokemon Unite, and eFootball, has added one more strong lineup under their banner. Now, this Free Fire Max lineup will compete in the FFMIC 2025 under the name of Godlike.

Garena announces Free Fire Max India Cup 2025

On Friday, 27th June, Garena announced the Free Fire Max India Cup 2025 through their social media handle in partnership with TEZ. With this, Free Fire esports officially makes a comeback in India after 3.5 years.

Reports suggest that the tournament is going to be an open-for-all event with a massive prize pool of INR 1 Crore, and the Grand Finals are going to be an offline LAN event.
