As per the latest reports Saudi club Al Nassr have made the decision to part ways with their manager Stefano Pioli as the contract has been terminated. This decision comes after the Saudi giants have failed to win major titles last season because of which Stefano Pioli has agreed to leave the job with mutual consideration and the role is now vacant before the start of the new campaign.

The statement from the club media states that “Pioli and his staff are no longer the acting coaching staff of the first team.” Al Nassr are determined to win their first domestic league title since 2019 under the guidance of a new head coach. Al Nassr finished 3rd in the Saudi pro league last season and has managed to qualify for the AFC Champions league next season, the club will be hoping for a massive turnaround in the upcoming season.

Pioli expected to join his former team ACF Fiorentina: Reports

Pioli is reportedly expected to join his former club Fiorentina and return to coaching in the Serie A. The Italian previously coached ACF Fiorentina from 2017 to 2019, he is credited with fostering a positive environment and developing young players, though the club ultimately finished mid-table both seasons. Pioli then made a move to Milan winning his first ever Serie A title during his 5-year tenure at the club.

After leaving Milan, Pioli then joined Al Nassr in 2024 managing 44 matches in which his team won 28 games and lost 9 games. Al Nassr, owned by the Saudi Public Investment club are now left without a coach just days before Cristiano Ronaldo’s contract expires. The Italian Tactician is all set for a new chapter with Fiorentina while Al Nassr remain on the hunt to sign a coach which will help them to overcome their challenges and stand tall in order for the club to be title contenders in the upcoming campaign.
